Welcome
to
Lan Mark Farm
LanMark Farm is located in central Kentucky, nestled between the rolling bluegrass hills of Bourbon County. This area has long been noted for historical sites and buildings from the late 1700's into the 1900's. The farm is a working sheep and cattle farm that has been supporting families since 1824. The land and buildings have been loved and cared for by many generations and the love of the land has always been deep rooted. Today's innovations will continue to create a sustainable agriculture future for the farm. Our products are made with a newly patented feltloom that we have developed. To view the FeltLoom visit our website www.feltloom.com. Our fibers that are shorn from our different breeds of sheep and llamas continue to play a large part of our feltloom. We also work with other Kentucky farmers using their wool that meets the high standards set for our usage. LanMark Farm is committed to finding new ways to manage the farm and please our customers. Our 1900 barn was renovated to provide and year round working wool mill. The wool is picked, carded, and felted in this building to make our products. This building is also home to Kentucky Wool Society, a group of farmers interested in the preservation of farm life. In the future we are looking to complete another building that will be home to a much larger showroom and areas for workshops. Online sales, retail shop, tours and workshops to groups are offered. Our retail hours are onThursday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm or other hours by appointment. Call at (859) 383-4454. Email us at info@lanmarkfarm.com Your visit will be enjoyable for people of all ages. Families and friends enjoy using their creativity here. At Lan Mark Farm, our products are Kentucky Crafted and Kentucky Proud. Check out our unique one of a kind products. We have many fiber art supplies and enjoy teaching.
